Hi, I’m John Matthew Olivas, founder of Olivas Performance & Wellness — and your coach on this journey toward better health, strength, and confidence.
Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From playing organized sports growing up to leading teams as the General Manager of TruFit El Paso, I’ve always believed that movement is medicine — and discipline is life-changing.
But I also get what it’s like to be busy, tired, and pulled in every direction. As a husband, father, and working professional, I understand the real-world challenges people face when trying to prioritize their health. That’s why I created OPW: to provide realistic, no-BS coaching that actually fits your life — not the other way around.

Yes! We train clients locally in West El Paso and also offer fully remote coaching for those outside the area. Whether you prefer in-gym sessions or online flexibility, we’ve got you covered.

Not at all. Every program is tailored to your fitness level, goals, and comfort zone. Whether you’re new to working out or getting back into it, we’ll start at the right pace and progress from there.
